The earliest annual wildflowers and arriving at Whitefish Dunes State Park. These are the blue and white Hepatica and the Bloodroot. Our lake delays their emergence until early May.
Spring Thaw is Underway
The great Ides of March Blizzard (March 14-16, 2026) which blanketed our beautiful Bay Area with over 30 inches of snow has turned Whitefish Bay Creek into a raging torrent of water.
